The Process: A pressurized distributor applies a heavy application of high-viscosity, hot liquid asphalt emulsion directly to the graded aggregate base. An immediate spread of clean, fractured stone chips (typically 3/8" to 1/2") is applied and embedded using heavy pneumatic rollers.
Performance: Resists gouging from heavy agricultural machinery and provides an impermeable waterproof barrier that eliminates base erosion caused by runoff.
Designed for commercial fleet yards, distribution center overflow parking, and high-frequency access roads.
The Process: A two-layer application. The first application binds larger aggregate into hot liquid asphalt to build structural depth. A second binder shot is sprayed immediately on top, followed by a smaller, interlocking chip layer that fills surface voids and locks down the matrix.
Performance: Yields a tighter, denser surface that reduces loose aggregate, enhances tire grip, and extends service life beyond standard single-seal installations.
